About Us
Dear future colleague, my name is Kamau Austin. Thank you for
visiting Einfonews.com. If you are struggling to find money for
your business or understand e-Business "I can feel Your Pain".
But please allow me just 2 minutes to share with you how the Internet
has given me the opportunity to actualize my dream to be financially
Independent... and run my own business.
A few years ago I was so poor I couldn't afford a computer. I
didn't even know how to Login into Windows.
Plus I was a stay-at-home dad with a child with special challenges.
In short, I was a unlikely business success.
Most of my friends, family, and neighbors (stable professionals
with jobs) considered me a loser!
After learning to use free computers in the public libraries and
generate tens of thousands of dollars, with creative sales techniques,
within a few years I now publish this web site and eZines (short
for electronic magazine) reaching over 19,916 minority business
people a month.
I don't share this with you to brag. But to inspire you.
If I can develop a growing business with all my obstacles being
a regular guy from the tough streets of Bed Stuy (in Brooklyn NY)
so can you.
You probably already know running a business even with money is
difficult.
Running a business without money is almost impossible...
But you can overcome lack of capital if you have good creative
ideas on marketing, financing and monetizing your business.
Remember many people with lots of money still fail in their businesses.
Its Mental Capital that leads to financial capital and eventual

Growth of E commerce and E business are not usually linked to the more
grassroots issue of the digital divide and its impact on people of color
and minorities. Some may think it strange to address what seems to be
two divergent issues. Nevertheless, we take the vantage point that central
to the progress of all people, is the struggle for economic opportunity
and economic justice. Since the Internet is the biggest economic opportunity,
of our life time, it is imperative that the digital divide is closed.
Within a few years, one full tenth of the US economy will be the digital
economy. Therefore, Bridging the digital divide becomes necessary, in
order that we all have equal opportunity to benefit from this major technology
driven shift in our way of doing business.
In this
regard, the Editorial Mission of Einfonews, is to help business people
become more successful with doing business on the Internet. Therefore,
we especially try to communicate the advances in web marketing and the
Internet to groups that traditionally have been alienated by or intimidated
by technology and e business. We view our mission as informing people
out side of the technology and Internet loops. When you are in business,
you need to get to the salient issues as quickly as possible in respect
to profitability. You do not want to get side tracked with geek speak
and techno-babble.
It
is in this spirit, that we look forward to explaining technology, in plain
terms, for the e business reader, Black business owner, and minority entrepreneur.
We avoid the geek speak and mystique in order to e-mpower you the reader
for e business success. Given our slower adaptation, in general, to Internet
business, our vision and mission are naturally inclined to help the black
entrepreneur and minority entrepreneur -- gain a fast e business aptitude.

plan is not only to bring you the latest digital business or e business

will receive information here that isn't business theory. The information
that you receive from us is gathered from our own experience and the experience
of successful netpreneurs. I recall when I first launched this site, I
barely received one visitor a month, and I was no where on the search
engine radar screen. Now my sites rank on the first page of over ten keywords
on Yahoo and Google and our traffic has grown exponentially. In no way
however, do I consider myself to know everything in relation to digital
business.
It
would be self serving to style myself as another Internet Guru. However,
I do consider myself an astute student of the ever changing e business
landscape. Therefore, lets exchange ideas and knowledge towards our mutually
