THE BLACK WEALTH NETWORK AND ATLANTIC CITY MONEY SHOW TO FEATURE MINORITY MONEY MANAGERS PANEL
Atlantic City, NJ - InterShow, producer of the Atlantic City Money Show, announced that it will expand it s partnership with the Black Wealth Network in the continuing advancement of minority participation in the investment markets at the upcoming second annual Atlantic City Money Show, August 5-7, at the Atlantic City Convention Center.
The Atlantic City Money Show will feature over 50 of Wall Street's top analysts, advisors, and money managers, who will address the issues of greatest concern to today's sophisticated and affluent investors and traders in over 150 FREE educational workshops and 9 investment panel discussions.
According to a report prepared for the Milken Institute, minority businesses are a driving force behind growth, yet they remain severely constrained by the lack of access to capital. The report also states that funds, including gender- and ethnic-specific ones, remain undercapitalized by the universe of institutional investors despite the proliferation of specialty fund strategies. The report concludes that more targeted investment funds and instruments need to be designed and built for this new asset class.
The Atlantic City Money Show will feature a panel of experts who will discuss the importance and positive impact of minority participation in the investment markets. They will also examine how new tools such as the Black Wealth Network, the Women's Financial Network, and the National Association of Hispanic Investors & Advisors are being used to develop a whole new class of American investor.
The panel, Minority Investor Roundtable How to Make Money in Today's Global Markets, featuring three prominent African American money managers, will take place on Friday, August 6, 6:00pm - 7:00pm, at the Atlantic City Convention Center. A Black Wealth Networking reception will immediately follow the panel discussion giving attendees the opportunity for one-on-one interaction with the experts.
