Consider:
Getting Paid by Google!
|
Hi this is Kamau Austin, In order to help keep Black - Hispanic - minority
and small On-line Businesses up on the current e marketing tips, I wanted
to share something that may help some web publishers. The Google search
engine, the number 1 search engine providing 2/3rds of the search
queries on the web (it also powers search results for Yahoo
- MSN - and AOL), is offering to give you a piece of the action. You
can be one of the first people to get a piece of their advertising windfall!
They started a new program called AdSense
where they will feature Google pay-per-click ads on your site.
For everyone that clicks on a Google ad on your
site you will get a commission. Some Netpreneurs are making
thousands of dollars off this program already. So if you have decent traffic
on your web site but, are not making any advertising income this may be
a viable option. It takes a lot of time and effort to publish a web site
and e-zine. Many times you don't have time to go after advertisers. Well
Google will provide some advertising income. Since, only 1%-5%
of people who come to your
site will become customers any way, you might as well make money off
the other 97%.
The program is not for every kind of business. But if you are busting
your butt providing good content and are not making any money
this may be a viable option. This is an important consideration since
we recently lost 2 mega-sites (Netnoir and The Black World Today). They
were under supported by corporate advertisers. If this program was around
8 months ago maybe they would still be around today.
From my many hours of research into ethnic marketing search engine
terms, I know that there are literary dozens of high traffic keywords
targeting black content with no sites optimized to take advantage of it.
Now you have
the option of developing sites for untapped high traffic key words and
making advertising income from them. You just need to know a little search
engine optimization and you have a viable web site. Did you know that
although Black Business publishing will be a hard business to build on-line
because, there are only 1358 monthly searches for Black business and 1009
searches for black entrepreneur, their were 325,863 monthly searches
for Ja Rules and 420,047 searches for Ashanti. Therefore,
people who
like to write about music and entertainment, now would be a good time
to build those sites.
I hope some people can benefit from this info. Check
