Finding finance sources for your business will be one of
the most challenging things for you as an entrepreneur. There are a lot
of claims by various companies online about providing information on free
government grants for startup businesses.
Some of the other grant infoproducts on the Net are CDs
which sell for about $45 - $75. While I will be doing research into just
how good these grant CDs are in the future, I have come across a valuable
ebook of grant sources. It is called the "Guide to Government
& Foundation Grants" by Today I Can Inc. I will refer to
the Guide to Government & Foundation Grants as (GGFG)
for brevity sake and for the balance of this review.
On this site and in my ezines I spend countless hours sharing
free tips on how to get financing for your business with grants, loans,
and also on Internet marketing for free. I do this because I have a passion
to help other minorities and entrepreneurs in business.
Therefore, I am skeptical about recommending books to my
site visitors and subscribers, unless I read the books first and find
them of true value. I don't want to hurt my reputation for a few dollars.

However, I was pleasantly surprised when I downloaded and
read this grant ebook because it is loaded with grant resources.
When you go to the Today I Can Inc., site you are asked
to fill out a short form into what kind of grant information you are looking
for or what you would do with your grant money. You would then indicate
that you would invest in a business.
The the site directs you to the part of the site where
you can order the grant book primary for business usage. GGFG was a PDF
ebook of 244 pages full with grant resources for businesses, but it
has been updated and revised recently.
A PDF stands for Portable Document Format and it
was created so that you could read ebooks on any computer with the free
software. It is very easy to download and install.
Please note:
the newly revised GGFG is 312 pages of grant and free financial
resources.
You will have to download and install the free
Adobe Acrobat reader on your computer system to be able to read this PDF.
After you obtain the ebook do a search on Google or Yahoo! for the free
Adobe Acrobat reader if you don't have it installed.
I especially saw a good number of grant resources for
women, many of which had links to web sites to get more information on
the criteria of the grants. I do a lot of research on grants and business
loans for this site, and this ebook had a lot of grant sources that I
never heard of before, from major foundations and the government.
What I really like about the Grant ebook is that it informed
you about the process of obtaining a grant so you know what to expect
in advance. It also gave you some pointers on being persistent and filling
out forms.
Furthermore after buying the book I noticed that they had
a good customer service department to answer any questions on your order.
This ebook is also fully guaranteed.
Many business people ask me about personal grants to take
care of their family needs while they build their business. I also noticed
some of the grant sources for personal needs are listed as well in this
book. You will have to see how valuable these personal grants are since
my primary focus is on business grants.
This grant ebook (a book you read on your computer via
a web browser in this case). GGFG lists grants and state grant information
centers and their phone numbers. Most of the information is up to date.
It also has a large section of grants for the Arts on a State by State
basis. It even has a good section on scholarships.
It also has a list of numerous foundation sources. They
also provide a lot of addresses and phone numbers to grant resources for
businesses in this ebook. Business assistance programs are even broken
down on a state by state basis.
Statewide Minority Business Development Agencies are also
listed. There are countless corporate grant sources and charities listed
in this grant ebook as well.
Even state unemployment agencies are listed. They also
list minority business support organizations. These are business support
groups and organizations that help women and minorities in business. The
only downside I saw was a few of the links were old.
What I like is the publisher is always updating this ebook
with new grants. The publisher has a staff of researchers always looking
for new grants.
This means that if you buy the book today a few months
down the road the book will be revised and updated with new grants and
financial resources.
However, I am glad I invested in this ebook. If you want
a lot of information on grants without waiting to have them sent by traditional
snail mail, obtaining this ebook is the fastest and best way to get the
information.
I don't think you can go wrong with this ebook for less
