Tips on Affiliate and Facebook Marketing
1. Affiliate marketing is getting internet users to help sell a company's products or services on a commission basis. Affiliates are paid for sales & sometimes referrals.
2. You can make MONEY on Both Sides of the Affiliate Marketing equation. Sell products for others from your websites, blogs, & Profiles.
3. Take Advantage of 3 types of Affiliate programs. Sell eBooks or Books, Web Services, or Real World products/services. Sell for others or make your own!
4. 3 Types of Affiliate Marketing Sales Items:
(1) eBooks and Books;
(2) Web Services - i.e. Google Adsense, Shopping Carts, Web Apps;
(3) Your Products or Services - create your own affiliate programs or reseller programs with your clients.
5. Both eBooks and Books make great Affiliate Products to Sell. Books are more work because you may have to mail them. But eBooks only have to be downloaded.
Affiliate Programs is a Great way to monetize your content
6. Market Web Services as Affiliate Programs to make Passive Income. Google Adsense is a decent program if you plan it successfully.
7. Google Adsense is STILL a Good Affiliate Program if the Ads are placed on the Site for Visitors in a very understated & strategic way.
8. Build Additional Affiliate income with Google Adsense. If you have a blog I would suggest putting up Adsense as a way to monetize content.
9. Use the most effective Google Adsense sizes on your website. Usually Rectangles. Modify the colors similar to your website so they look natural.
10. Recently I heard on the Radio one out of every four web page views are on Facebook. In other words 25% of all web pages views are on Facebook.
11. The Web is becoming similar to one big eBay Rating System. Likes on Facebook and other Social Media sites will In my opinion, determine YOUR Site's Rankings. We're seeing this rating system already in Google Places (formerly Google local). 12. When getting site visitors to like your site don't just go with Flash and Style. Simplicity Sells more with Design. A good article on this is: Web Design Article

Google to Buy Twitter &
Facebook Users to Incur Fees
Don't stress. This is just a hypothetical headline. But think about it.
What if this were true? What would happen if you built up a strong presence across the major social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, with thousands of contacts each.
You then built a business model around this and tomorrow all these places started charging fees or worst went out of business? Or what would happen if all these sites became passe and less popular?
If your business model is built around them or even Google -- would you be up craps creek? In my 10 years of Internet marketing I have learned one thing "the only constant in Internet marketing -- is change."
This down to earth perspective is lacking in the logic of many of today's up and coming social media experts. A lot of them talk about search engines, social media, blogging, online PR, and other forms of marketing like they are a strategy or goal unto themselves.
But these are just means to achieve your business goals and strategies. Much of the social media discussion today needs to be wedded to good basic Internet best practices.
Now matter how strong your presence is on any social networking site you should always work on building a list of your subscribers. I would suggest that you offer free information like ecourses, ezines, white papers or ebooks to entice your Facebook friends and fans to join your mail database.
