Google is on Target to do 20 Billion dollars in Sales this year. This is equal to the ad sales of NBC, ABC, CBS, & Fox combined.

There are 6.7 Billion people in the world. Only 25% are Online. But there were 113 Billion searches in Sept. 09!

Search engine usage increased over 50% last year. Google has the largest marketshare 63%. Youtube is now 2nd in SEs

6.7 Billion people in the world. Only 25% of them Online. But in November there were 14.8 Billion videos watched online. Do You Video?

Youtube is the most popular video download source with about 7 Billion downloads a month.

Asia Has the Largest Internet Population Online at 738,257,230 out of 3.8 Billion people. So their market penetration is about 19.4% online.

North America (USA & Canada) have the largest percentage of people online at 74.2%. Next is Oceania/Australia at 60.4%. Europe is at 52%.

It is well known is SEO circles that Google changes its algorithm around the holidays. If your site's ranking decreases it may be because of this. This forces some sites to advertise around the holidays.

Google's Employee stock options increased in value by 2 Billion. We all can't work 4 Google, but we can make Google work 4 us.

Search engines and social media are both powerful forms of business promotion. Each has it's strong and weak points. Experiment with and measure both.

2. Remember to always work to build an email list. There is profit in your email list. Friends on Facebook, Connections on LinkedIN, and Twitter followers are examples of quasi-lists.

3. Build a strong friends list or following on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn & always entice people to join your email list.

4. Study copy writing to increase your sales conversions on your sites. However, the best training is in real time observing your site statistics.

5. Use split testing to increase sales conversions on your sites. I have raised sales on my sites from 0% to 8% just by changing headlines & copy.

6. Create a Get Help Tab on the Upper Navigation of your website. Write and include a FAQ in that section of your most asked support questions.

Post an FAQ section on your websites Contact Us or Help Page. I used to get a lot of support questions and requests for free information on one of my most popular websites. I put up a Get Help Page Tab on the Top navigation of my site in a very strategic place.

Then I put a series of my most recurrent support and inquiry questions and answered them with a FAQ, my support requests when from a lot of questions every month to NILL - Nada - Nothing.

The support questions before hand where really eating up my valuable time. The same questions over and over. The FAQ section really cut down on it until it is an non issue now.

I hope this adds to the great info you are providing today and helps your FB friends. Videos are great too. I'll give an example of a good way to do this in my next post.

7. Increase website sales by posting videos on how to use payment systems like Pay Pal or Click Bank.
A profitable way to practically use video is to make videos on how to pay with Pay Pal and other Payment systems. Believe it or not a lot of people especially non technical professionals are confused about paying online.

Especially if you are using Pay Pal or Click Bank to process orders. Pay Pal tries to make people become members before paying.

You will lose a lot of sales because of this (despite the fact Pay Pal has hundreds of millions of members). But there is a way people can pay without becoming members....

I did a screen capture video showing people how to pay without becoming a Pay Pal member with a credit card. I put it on all my sales focused websites plus when I get a new client I send them the link to the video. Sales started spiking on my sites and now new clients who aren't techies pay me usually without incident.

Some of our best customers are non technical professionals like doctors, lawyers, and psychologists. Many are hesitant about paying online. But a good video can reassure them and get them to do business online. This is not theory I'm sharing. I do this in my business everyday with video and it helps immensely.

8. There are 3 major points of visibility in search engine marketing today. Organic listings, Pay-Per-Click Advertising, and Local Map results.

The first focus in search engine promotion is organic (unless you own a local business). Many people can dominate with article marketing for links.

Pay Per Click or PPC advertising is very important in your online promotion arsenal. First its a good way to get site traffic fast.

Although Pay Per Click ads (PPC) may seem to be very expensive and complex to setup Google has great tools to help you. You just need the moxie to start.

Understanding how a web page is designed can help you greatly in developing "on the page" search engine optimization (SEO).

12. Taking advantage of search engine promotion is smart and effective because 90% of your competition will be too lazy or skeptical to try it.

13. There are basically 2 strategies to Search Engine marketing: (1) Getting a high ranking on the map or organic listings; (2) Getting a lot of listings.

14. Getting high rankings on the search engines involves two things: (1) On the page factors; and (2) Off the page factors.

15. Learn to use the overlay feature in Google Analytics. It is the most advanced webpage information tool available for free.

16. A Google Analytics overlay will show you the percentages of clicks on every link on your site. This is invaluable info.

17. You judge a web destination's popularity on two factors: 1. Traffic - How many people surf over; 2. Stickyness - How Long they Stay.

18. Google is the most popular site in terms of traffic. Facebook of course is one of the Skickyest sites online it's addicting.

19. If you want to make it on Facebook don't be a carbon copy clone or brown noser. Create rich food for thought and inspiration.

20. Be persistent with your online sales efforts. Don't give up on doing business. You'll need traffic and stats to work towards your goals.
